Huge Difference - Small Price

I have a CV 50's PBass (Squier) with a Duncan Quarter Pounder that was a good candidate for modification(s) as I had issues with (1) clear, ringing harmonics, and (2) some dullness in tone. I decided to start with the Fender bridge and WOW, did it ever make a real, noticeable difference. The strings seem to be able to "speak" more openly, it added sustain in a big way, and it made it sound a lot clearer/sat in mix way better when recorded. Low cost investment to "create" a new instrument. Love it!

Excellent replacement bridge

I put these Bridges on my P Bass and J Bass and it did take the sound to the next level. Intonation was better and tuning stability increased. Do yourself a favor and invest in your instrument.

It's what it should be

It used to be that the Leo Quan product was a Fender bassist's only bridge upgrade option. Of the several clones (and the original) available, only one is Fender-branded and thus, Fender-apropos. My Player Series Jazz needed no neck shim; just a drop-in replacement, tighten the screws, tighten the strings, and just a wee bit of fine intonation adjustments, and it was good to go, offering more low-mid gut-punch and sustain that would make Nigel Tufnel proud. Unlike the Quan original, this bridge does come slotted, which meant no muss, no fuss. It might be the only upgrade you'll want or need. The BBG price is budget-friendly, too.
